Trump responds to Bannon's allegations: Says he lost his mind!

Bannon:

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.” Bannon went on, Wolff writes, to say that if any such meeting had to take place, it should have been set up “in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people”. Any information, he said, could then be “dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication”.

The most hilarious part is that while it's clear that even the purveyors of propaganda know that they're pedaling bullshit, the useful idiots still trust them, because otherwise their whole political philosophy falls apart around them, forcing them to realize they've been lied to their entire lives, and are useful idiots.

Projection and cognitive dissonance, all the way fucking down. Forever.

I hope you know how funny everyone finds this total meltdown.

Remember when Trump said he was going to hire the best people? How come he ended up with a bunch of insane liars and criminals? lol.

I'm a hiring manager, I tell my boss I'm going to hire the best we can and build the best team we can, and I believe in that. More often than not it works out. But sometimes some people can put on a mask and pretend they're more than they are and eventually it doesn't work out. He isn't the first president to have turnover in regards to his cabinet and advisers.

Trump is right about one thing- Roy Moore was Bannon's idea, a play for the fundie-whacks. It probably would have worked, too, if not for the sexual impropriety part of it.

He is the first president to have this level of turnover in many decades. A few I’ve set records for shortest time in their respective positions.

Yes, yes. Do you have a meltdown when somebody doesn't work out? Do you denounce them to the world?

So what? If someone isn't the "best" he's replacing them. I'd say turnover is more of a sign of him trying to in fact have the best, than having low or no turnover at this point.

So you’re argument is that he meant he would eventually hire the best people after hiring an endless parade of useless twats first? I must have missed that subtle nuance in his statement at the time.

This is crazy, AT P&N is trying to pretend that because Trump has had turnover in his cabinet, even if more than other presidents in "decades" (what does that mean, a handful of presidents then?) it must mean Trump is failing or wherever your fantasy takes you. He said he's going to hire the best, and he's had to fire people and replace them. Wow..! Carry on guys, you're using that winning strategy you used in 2016. Exaggerate to the point of absurdity, but believe it!

Dude, stop. Seriously. The man is obviously incompetent and in way over his head. He didn't get on the fail train, he's the fucking train.

This is something that has been known in press circles for sometime. Both Bannon and Priebus were leaking.

Well, based on Wolff's book, where all of today's information led to this current shitstorm, based on 200+ interviews with Trump and his staffers, at the request of Trump as he was given access to the White House....the leaks were most likely from Trump himself. Basically, Trump can't help himself but to brag and complain throughout his 6:30pm hamburger and bed phone calls to everyone that has the displeasure to be on the other end of those phone calls. And, since there is rarely anything privileged or any expectation regarding the information that Trump freely gives out, it has become accepted within the WH that all of these awful, treasonous, illegal leaks are actually coming from Trump.

Because he's a fucking idiot.

Now come on folks...Trump is right...Bannon HAS lost his mind...but, unfortunately for Trump...he lost it years ago...long before Trump hired him...

That doesn't necessarily make him wrong on this though...

Oh please this is desperation. If my hiring staff displayed this level of incompetence in evaluating candidates for the top positions in my company they would be the ones being fired.

Trump is an incompetent blow hard. All bluster no substance. He has no idea what he’s doing and as such can’t hire for it. How can he without a basic understanding of the job and no competent people around him to guide him?

well, I'm sure you're an awful hiring manager because it seems you were easily duped by the "Trump mask" --and this was after you couldn't fall back on "Gee, I thought he was just pretending during the campaign! I didn't think he would actually be the awful, incompetent fuck that he displayed for two years!"

Pathetic. I have no idea how you are still employed if any of what you claim is true. lol, how embarrassing it is for you to proudly claim that you weren't a Trump supporter until after he started shitting tweets from the WH! 😀

damn son. you are fucking pathetic.

Trump is right about one thing- Roy Moore was Bannon's idea, a play for the fundie-whacks. It probably would have worked, too, if not for the sexual impropriety part of it.
But Trump with eyes wide open jumped on that band wagon.

As a hiring manager if you hired someone who publicly stated in the past they wanted to destroy your company you’d be fired

A meltdown? How has he melted down here? Because he tweeted about Bannon?

He's been melting down all along, ever since the bigly-est inauguration crowd ever.

Mr. Trump, described by his spokeswoman as “furious, disgusted,” fired back by saying that Mr. Bannon had “lost his mind.”

With friends like Trump's he obviously doesn't need any enemies. That sure as Hell doesn't say anything good about his judgement or leadership abilities.

Yeah, what President hasn’t had their national security adviser plead guilty to a felony after being specifically warned not to hire him because he was shady and unstable? What a master businessman there. Lol.

The sheer incompetence on display is mind boggling. It’s really telling when a very common refrain from people after they meet or speak with Trump is ‘this guy is stupid’.

There's a difference between higher-than-usual turnover and the game of musical chairs that is the Trump White House. For goodness' sake, Scaramucci lasted for 10 days. Flynn lasted for less than a month. Bannon is a relative longevity champion at less than 7 months. You think that's even vaguely normal? No, it's not.

If you say you're going to hire the best, that also means you figure out how to hire the best the first time around. You don't throw darts blindfolded and hope you hit the target. If Trump were a recruiter, he'd probably have been fired by now for plummeting retention rates and picking people who should never have passed the vetting process. When can we expect him to have the best, exactly? 2020?
