Multiple of us have repeatedly said and shown video after the shots. Teleprompters are in one piece, appear to be undamaged. There is no place for shrapnel to originate from.

And if FBI Director Christopher Wray is not going to explain or elaborate in anyway, then he's just spreading FUD for the sake of it.

There were also reports about a handful of people that were physically close to Fat Hitler (USSS, etc.) that had similar laceration type injuries as well. It would make sense that something was struck and the result of that strike is what injured all of those individuals, along with Trump.

As I understand it, the shot would have come from the left of him (as seen from the perspective of the video footage) and so would presumably then have traveled to the right 'off-screen' (i.e. not directly behind him from that video p.o.v). The audience member who was killed was seated some distance to the left, I believe, so was presumably hit by shots that didn't reach Trump. Either the gunman was firing wildly after being disturbed or being shot himself, or he wasn't exclusively interested in shooting Trump (or he was a seriously lousy marksman).
 
Some weird conspiracy theories out there about the woman behind Trump who reacts by calmly getting out her mobile phone (e.g. claims that she was a senior FBI agent).

Seems to me that's just what people do in a crisis these days. Either filming the event in the hope of selling the footage, or texting someone to tell them they'll be late home as there's one of those political assassinations going on (eye-roll emoji).

The cop appearing made him rush his shot. He actually was surprisingly accurate even with this. The next single shot has to be the sniper. Because it was said in the committee hearings, the last volley of shots was also from him. So after getting hit, he must have wildly shot and killed the guy. So it does make more sense if he did attempt to shield his family.

What he is saying we don't know if it was the bullet that nicked his ear because Trump won't release medical records for the investigation.

This way Trump potentially can lie about it.

I'd like to hear from the man himself who he's leaning towards, rather than other posters "speculating." I may disagree with him politically, but I don't think Geenman would lie. Of course, he might honestly say he's undecided. I'd then like him to tell us his top three possibilities, at this time and subject to change. That would be not only honest, but forthright. @Greenman
