Little on the shooter's motivation has come out yet but there is this from his classmates apparently.

Don't be stingy, spill the word.Trump’s going to spend the rest of his life fearing conservative gunman. There’s a word for that…
Also didn't this happen before? The Pittsburgh synagogue shooting when Trump was President - wasn't the shooter upset that Trump wasn't right wing enough???
I am not and never have been for political violence. You however have spent 3.5 years downplaying Jan 6th.I never said that I was "cool" with the capital riot. That you need to lie to justify your position doesn't reflect on me, though it does put you in a poor light.
Does your registration change in Penn based on which primary you voted in?A 20 year old is going to have, what, a single voter registration?
That's a record to spit on, not respect.
Especially when they wouldn't be the only person to vote in the Republican Primary in order to stop Trump. (Hi Nikki)
I'll wait for online posts / actual history of ideology before jumping to some conclusions about them.
TBH, I think he intended to kill Trump. The dead man and two critically injured were "accidental." However, I have no evidence you don't.To me it’s looking more and more likely that this wasn’t really politically motivated and more akin to a loser/loner who had been bullied his life was wanting to end his life by making a name for his self. Like most mass shooters. The shooter was trying to kill Trump and have a mass shooting all in one.
So, how do you reconcile the injury to his ear? Was that some slight of hand? A little device attached? This whole thing seems unlikely. Not the assassination attempt but the close call aspect. But such things happen. The only reason that I weakly endorse this thought, is that under duress, we absolutely know that Trump runs and hides and cries like a fucking coward. Every fucking time something upsetting happens. He hides in his little bunker stuffing his maw with hamburders. His demanding to get up and hoist the Nazi salute in the air after being shot and tackled is definitely not something that anyone that is paying attention would expect of him.
One of the SS agents nicked his ear with a pen knife. So, how do you reconcile the injury to his ear? Was that some slight of hand? A little device attached? This whole thing seems unlikely. Not the assassination attempt but the close call aspect. But such things happen.
Again what part of the voting population will suddenly change out of sympathy? He’s already has their vote.So....it's Trumps now right? Cause of sympathy...?![]()
Maybe someone that was on the fence?Again what part of the voting population will suddenly change out of sympathy? He’s already has their vote.

I don't know how fence sitters think. Anyone that's still sitting on the fence after everything Trump does and says...I don't understand their thought process.Do you think Fence-sitters will be swayed by his Nazi salute? The one photo that these idiots are desperate to make famous? Somehow, I don't think people swayed by Nazi imagery are fence-sitters.
He's not just a coward. He's also very addicted to getting responses to people surrounding him, particularly, naturally, at rallies. Rallies where he is the center of attention are fundamental to his self identity. Fist pumping and pointing at specific people is virtually reflexive for him. Challenged at a rally (whoa, I've been grazed by a bullet), brought out the reflexive fist pumps. Fist pumping and pointing are just part and parcel of who he is now and probably will be for the rest of his life.I should have said entertain, not endorse. I never meant to imply support for this narrative. Only insomuch that it's out of character for that corpulent coward to not run away and hide when threatened, as we well know that he always does.
Anything beyond tracking the sun throughout the day is a bridge too far.I don't know how fence sitters think. Anyone that's still sitting on the fence after everything Trump does and says...I don't understand their thought process.
Look at the video again, I think his reaction with his right arm wasn't fake, it was genuine response to the pain of being struck, possibly by a bullet, possibly shrapnel.or he used some of the ketchup packets that he keeps in his pockets, while under that pile.![]()
