If I ever get speeding ticket again, the first thing I'm going to do is call the judge names and threaten his family.

Then when they find me guilty anyway, I'm going to appeal. And then sue.

MAGAs will MAGA, originally they claimed "Well, he'll never actually get charged with anything because he didn't do anything. So it doesn't even matter" then when he was charged they changed it to "Well, the charges are made up, so he'll never actually go to trial, so it doesn't even matter." Then when he went to trial they changed it to "well, he didn't do anything wrong so won't be convicted so it doesn't even matter" After he was found guilty "Well, it will be reversed" And now that the reversal won't happen and a real sentencing is actually coming "Well, he's not a felon yet so it doesn't even matter" And once the judge officially convicts him they'll just say "Well, he should have never been charged in the 1st place so it doesn't even matter" Most MAGAs I chatted with post trial were laughing at me saying "too bad nothing will ever happen here because all the charges will be dropped, this entire trial was unfair." And they will just resort to denial and say "well it shouldn't have happened" which somehow will invalidate him of actually being a convicted felon in their minds. Also, they'll throw in something about Obama, Hillary and of course Hunter's laptop.

They've moved the goal posts about 50 times here, and won't ever admit he's a felon. And it's not like the judge will hand out jail time or an actual punishment. It'll just be "you're guilty Donald Trump" which every sane person already knew, and his cult will just ignore. So nothing will even change here. And since there will be no punishment here I don't even know why it's happening honestly. "Donald, you're a felon, now go and run the most powerful country in the world"

His and their only problem is this was all before official duties. He won't get locked up, probably won't live to end of term, but still. At least the goal posts are set by Merchan.

I agree with you the goal posts will constantly shift as they have for the past 9 years.

That's going to be an interesting fight. Many of his golf clubs are actually in Coke Jr's name...even if King Donnie is ultimately the one who profits.

I think it's right to hold him accountable, but there's a lot of legal mumbo-jumbo...and will take lots of legal wrangling to do it.

We can all cross our fingers and hope Merchan sentences him to 34 months in prison...since TECHNICALLY, he's not the president yet...Sing Sing or Attica...here he comes!

Maybe a Claus von Stauffenberg or Henning von Tresckow will step up and protect democracy for us.

But the rumored result is supposed to be "don't get arrested again for anything and this sentence is suspended". So not even that unless he somehow manages to get arrested during his term, which is now theoretically impossible because SCOTUS has ruled that he's essentially a king.

Again, the only thing that's going to get him is the magic cheeseburger.
