I would prefer him to not win too as I think 2016 showed that anyone who wins a major party nomination has a shot at the presidency even if it's not good. I think he would fare considerably worse in 2024 than in 2020 if he did get the nomination though. To me it is abundantly clear the significant majority of the country is over him. Just look at today's pro-Trump protest. Basically nobody showed up.

Not saying the judge will account for it, but it would be an interesting negotiation between NYS and USSS. It's not like he can just go into Rikers gen pop.

There are projections now that if the new "No Label Party" gets someone on the ballot in the general that it would likely cause Trump (if nominee) to win the election. I think it was a ticket of Hogan/Manchin in the projection that had Trump winning the EC over Biden.

Kinda hilarious when you juxtapose Trump's post-indictment polling and fundraising with the impact that Comey reopening the email investigation had on Clinton. No indictments, no charges, ultimately a nothingburger, but it helped to sink her.

It just tells you how different the GOP base is now. Trump flouting the law *and getting away with it* is a feature, not a bug. The GOP is not the "law and order" party. It's the "we make the rules, YOU have to obey them" party.

As an aside, why isn't the media hammering this fucking idiot for screwing so many people over? He has literally caused small businesses to go bankrupt, screwed hundreds of common laborers out of hard earned money yet no one has done an exhaustive expose on all that afaik. It might be a good time to showcase to the common idiot that supports him that he thinks they are scum. Get a few of them on the tube explaining what an angel he really is.

I thought the media and his opponents brought this up during the 2016 Presidental campaign? His supporters will just make excuses for trump actions and blame the small businesses and laborers.

They have been reporting on his declining wealth, fraud, general bullshit, association with criminals, overall decline in mental health and the fact that he is comical buffon for decades.
