LOL the funny thing is after I read that article you linked, I went and googled the name of Trump's latest attorney hire whose name is Lindsey Halligan. A Seth Abramson tweet with this photo popped up.

That's her, the brunette on the far left.

I guess if every respectable law firm is turning him down, he just pulls up a directory of licensed attorneys with headshot photos and picks the most attractive female lawyer he can find. Because being hot means you'll probably win in spite of having no experience whatsoever in the subject. Or at least, that is Trump's shallow and demented view of reality.

Meh! Nice face but no ass

Yes I am surprised he removed items of this classification.

Removed? Don’t you mean stolen?

You are still soft peddling what he did. It was outright theft. No different then embezzlement or a smash and grab. One difference, smash and grabs don’t threaten the very security of the nation.

Interesting admission you had no idea this guy wasn’t capable when most of us were flashing red since he was elected. You accused us of having TDS

I think our fears have been justified.

You can't print classified documents; now Trump might have asked some nerd to transcribe the documents and then print then.... The reason hillary was using a private email server was so she could print emails. In her case the emails were not classified (though some of the information in them was sensitive and other contained information that was classified after the fact but not when she received them).

This is part of the problem with the federal govt. In the name of security a lot of stuff is not transmitted electronically but it also makes a lot of routine activity untenable.
You know how I know you have absolutely zero clue wtf you are talking about?

The bolded.

I would have no idea as to "why" the documents were taken.

Do I think Trump stole them to sell or trade to our enemies?
No, I do not.

Who packed the boxes?
Trumps aides I would guess. I do not think Trump packed anything.

Did Trump tell them to pack these specific documents?
I don't know.

A few more questions we need answers to—why were his passports stored with these documents? And why weren’t these presidential records (classified or not) returned with the others back in January or June???

Not on a government system, but I've personally printed lots of classified data (all of which was properly destroyed and never left the SCIF).

Do you think he hasn’t been charged because he has threatened that he has arranged to release others still hidden if he is arrested?

So to continue the same line or questions, you really think Trump isn't capable of selling out this country with top secret documents? Somehow you still think Trump can be trusted. I would like to know your thinking on that.

IMO
Trump - absolutely capable
Obama - no
Bush - no
Clinton - no
Bush - no
Reagan - no
Carter - NFW

And still you make excuses. He didn’t pack them … lol … if that were true why didnt he return them over year ago when asked? Again, still trying to defend an obvious lawbreaker.

I’m very confident if I were an aide packing boxes I would not be throwing top secret documents in with someone’s personal effects. Also, if Trump didn’t know he has them and/or didn’t instruct anyone to take them (and therefore presumably indifferent) then he wouldn’t have fought so hard to keep them.

By far the most likely answer is Trump took them on purpose.

Don’t read the ignored trolls posts. But based on responses, assuming he’s saying orange monkey didn’t physically box the documents, so why should he be charged for it. So the buck doesn’t stop with his orange monkey leader?

It never was a valid defense in the first place, but to the extent it could have been entertained, it ended the second that NARA informed him he was in possession of classified documents. It got drawn and quartered when he returned classified documents to the FBI in response to the subpoena. It got doused in gasoline and lit on fire when the FBI executed a search warrant upon discovering he didn't comply with the subpoena. And it got obliterated by a fucking H bomb when they found classified documents in his desk drawer.

I would be curious to know what he sent back vs. what was not sent back. Did he actually look thru the documents and think "I need to keep this", or was it just entirely random. Why return anything at all? Why not pretend like he knew nothing/had nothing?

Maybe his aides intercepted the request from NARA and didn't tell Trump about it? Do you think Trump physically built his desk and carried it into his office? Of course not, it was most likely his aides that did that, and that's probably when they put the classified documents in his desk drawer. Do you think Trump actually opens and closes his desk drawer? Clearly he has aides for such things.

It has been reported for months that there were boxes that Trump packed himself and he went as far as being secretive as to what was inside. But honestly, think through what you are saying. Aides, who I'm clear have seen what TOP SECRET documents look like decided by themselves to touch these clearly labeled TOP SECRET documents and then pack them in a box for him to leave with when he was leaving the White House. If aides did that, it's not an excuse for Trump. It's Trump's responsibility for hiring idiot aides and entrusting them with our Nations most guarded secrets. Lastly, did the aides then separate them from the rest of the boxes and then move these TOP SECRET documents and put them where his passports were? The lengths people go to defend Trump is bewildering.

Opposite of Occam's Razor, Hickam's dictum.
