God you guys are useless sometimes.

1 box with one classified document is still a box of classified documents. Whether it was one piece or more is irrelevant as he was given an opportunity to give these documents back and he chose not to. The amount of boxes was to illustrate the amount of documents found versus what Hillary had. The point still stands. Pcgeek isn’t being logically consistent and is using/demanding different standards be used.

I never claimed it wasn't an issue even with 1 document, but why misrepresent what was the actual amount. We don't know. It wasn't 25 boxes and it wasn't 20 boxes. It was 11 sets of documents. Whatever the fudge a "Set" is...

Yes we don't know - I don't follow as close as some of you I still suck at the 11 boxes stage - what, why, how Trump keeping them and we don't know what, why FBI took. What we know for sure was Trump keeping doc illegally and he had his chance to return it no harm no fail but he didn't.

So calm down, pointing at technicality or driving - but Clinton for example - way off topics don't help anyone.

Must be a day that ends in "y".

"1 box with one classified document is still a box of classified documents."

That is the biggest load I have ever read from you. A normal person would claim that it is a box with one classified document and a bunch of other unclassified documents.

I'll give you that if the box has a classified document in it the entire box has to be handled at the highest level of the classification until that document is removed. But to claim that all the documents in the box are classified is just misrepresenting the truth.

Not worth arguing over.

Yet you're doing just that. Are you having a stroke? Do you need a carer?

I agree he isn't being logically consistent, but we should be better than that. "20 boxes of classified documents" implies there's a ton of classified in there, when that isn't the case. That's what they did with Hillary's "30k emails!!"

Apparently she was expected to read through every single email and determine their correct classification.

I have no reason to think he was lying.

Do you think the FBI was lying?

I don't think you even understand the point I was making. You (by way of Comey's statement) were trying to overexaggerate the amount of classified emails Hillary may have had on her server, saying that just because it wasn't marked TS or whatever that it could still contain classified information. Well no fucking duh, but unless she read over every single one of her 30k emails and was a SME on the contents of each email she likely wouldn't know it was classified unless it was marked. It's not as easy to figure that out as you think.

Now with Trump you're trying with all your might to minimize how many classified documents he stole. You could take Comey's exact statement and it would apply EXACTLY the same to the 20 boxes of documents. You didn't do that for some mysterious reason. Oh I'm sorry Trump didn't directly steal them, it was an aide or something who physically put the documents in the box. Do you think Hillary physically set up her server and manually backed up her emails? Again, I don't remember you making that same distinction, so weird.

No I don't think Comey was lying, what he was saying is so blindingly obvious it doesn't need to be said unless he was trying to make it look even worse than it was. That's why the same point doesn't need to be made here, and people should stop exaggerating with regards to Trump. You might FINALLY be right about something, unfortunately you contradicted yourself like one page back.

Why did he have that material? Why did he refuse to hand over material when subpoenaed? And actually lie about it on top of that.

THOSE are the important points.

Instead you're mad that they raided his place (AFTER HE WAS SUBPOENAED BUT DIDN'T TURN OVER THE MATERIAL) with 30 agents, etc. and arguing about the quantity of material he actually took. I hope you can stand back for a second and see the forest, instead of staring at the trees.

Sadly with this moron, it may have been simply because he thought they were his, and nobody takes anything that belongs to him. Still in the schoolyard.

Technically anything marked unclassified is still classified, just classified as unclassified.
[/Pedant]

Also, Trump done wrong and you're defending the wrong side yet again. But please continue to convince us you're really not defending him while constantly defending him.

no worries, a dude who voted for this guy twice wants you to take him seriously

Anyone here have working knowledge of FBI SOPs on how these things is handled and executed?

"I think they did mishandled xyz".

- Are you shitting me? How could you POSSIBLY be in a position to give a qualified opinion on that?

It reeks of emotion is what it does.
