Man, can you imagine a being a P&N poster who feels a need to defend/deflect for Trump for 4 yrs (assuming he makes it a full term)? You've got to have terrible judgement to make excuses for a POTUS so unqualified for the office that he wouldn't be hired to run a local PTA meeting let alone a country. You peeps gotta be easily duped to make excuses for this.

Actually its quite easy.

Just blame Hillary.

I'm quite sure Trump will avoid doing things that Obama did like cutting the deficit by a massive amount, adding private sector jobs to the economy for a record number of months, decreasing unemployment...

He cut the deficit, or is it simply the economic cycle going back up that cut the deficit? Last I checked our national debt went from $10.5 trillion when obummer took office to over $19 trillion now. Yep, sounds like a recipe for success for sure! Creating lots of lousy jobs and losing good jobs, yep, another tremendous success!

Not that I think Trump will do any better by the way, the problems faced by the country go far beyond a single president or congress.

That's assuming that it's the reason he's holding the rallies, though. Remember, it's known that Trump intends to delegate most of the real responsibilities of his office to Pence; he likes the campaigning part of the presidency, not the actual job. He's also a classic narcissist who likes to hear others tell him how great he is, and who hates criticism. There may be a hint of gratitude, but it's hard to shake the suspicion that this is about feeding his ego.

Can't say I disagree with any of that.

If we made so many lousy jobs and lost so many good jobs then why is the real median weekly wage higher now than when he came into office?

Their is little doubt that the rapid growth of entitlement spending and interest on debt is going to be blamed on Trump. I can see this one coming from a mile away.

It will be interesting to see all the conservatives who blamed deficits over the last 8 years on Obama find reasons why the deficits for the next 4/8 years are Obama's fault too.

I have watched a lot of WW2 lately and so far Trump and his gang look a lot like the early years of Hitler and his gang - give the public what they want to hear, then do what you really intended to do all along.

I get it...kinda like liberals blaming Bush for the Great Recession and all of Obama's deficits. Funny how that works.

The Baby Boomers are getting old and retiring and interest rates are headed up. The deficit will explode. No point in steering now.
