Trump is actively/consciously causing the death of Americans

Patrick did mention others in his plea. We all know Patrick is full of shit. Name one Republican showing a willingness the sacrifice themselves? They won't even wear masks so businesses can reopen so what makes you think they will sacrifice their lives?

Here is another conservative advocating sacrifice "others"
Dan Patrick, Lt. Governor of Texas, is the biggest slime ball I know of in government.

Always figured that is how trumpeeters view things, thanks for confirming my suspicion.
Republican Collaborators circle-jerking about how the virus is a hoax as American citizens die. Good.

Liberals having a discussion about how insane it is that Republicans are A-OK with American citizens dying. Bad.

Just a day in the life of a Republican collaborator.

I never said they were willing to sacrifice their lives.

I don't recall Trump of the Republican Party asking anyone to die.

And from your link:

But Hume told the host of Tucker Carlson Tonight that Patrick's view was "not terribly different" from what President Donald Trump and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had been saying, namely that "this circumstance as we try to beat this virus, is not sustainable," and that the "utter collapse of the country's economy...is an intolerable result."

"He is saying...that he'd be willing to take a risk of getting the disease, if that's what it took to allow the economy to move forward," Hume said, "because he's late in life...that he would be perhaps more willing then he might've been at a younger age, which seems to me to be an entirely reasonable viewpoint."

Hume referred to the seasonal influenza which kills thousands of people each year, adding, "we do not shut down the economy to combat it. We don't shut down the economy to save every single life that's threatened by a widespread disease. We just don't."

Why are those with the power, likely through the 25th Amendment, doing nothing to stop him?

When they've got their faithful talking like this:

I thought with all the circle jerking going on in this thread you might need a towel to clean up.

LOL

They don't care.

People like pcgeek will only care about the death toll and the long-term fall-out of Coronavirus when it directly affects him and his. As long as the GOP's faithful keep yipping like this and asking the Trump era equivalent of "but did Hitler really explicitly say that he planned to exterminate the Jews?", the GOP's only remaining job is to marginalise the people who won't vote for them.

Not even remotely true.

I've always found it sad and a little amusing to read these threads. It takes me back to my misspent youth when I knew all the answers, when anyone that disagreed with me was an idiot and a Nazi. I knew all the answers and couldn't believe how stupid everyone else was. Then I got married, had kids, and started my own business, talk about a reality check.
I remember filling out my first schedule C and thinking "I'm going to be rich!", then did my 1040 and thought "I'm going to have to pedal drugs to pay my rent".
Haha thats funny. Exactly what happened to me, just in reverse. As a boy and young man I would watch the shit show of politics and do the simple deduction; if I wanna get a head in life what do I do? Change the rules for the better or use that same energy to navigate within the existing rules? Didnt have the words back then but its a dont hate the player and fck you i got mine sort of thing. It was working out pretty good too. Then I got kids, we all know how that goes, or some of us do... Suddenly there is this human being in existence worth more than yourself, infinitely more... then it dawns right? These kids shall inherit the earth after me... for me that was when I looked up and started contemplating politics, geopolitics, got actively involved in making this a peaceful just place for everyone. FYGM transformed into something that gave a shit, something all assholes must die*.. or at least taken out of power in politics.

*)kidding, metaphorically speaking of course etc, dont blow your load on the report button, you know who you are..
