Can't find a definitive answer...but IF my local ballot drop box was being "monitored," (and if it's not against state law) I think I'd roll up with a stack of papers that resembled the ballot envelopes and start stuffing them into the box...(with someone nearby videoing) just to see if the "poll watchers" would try to challenge me.

I dropped off our ballots at the Board of Elections yesterday. I was ready for protestors, camera open set to video, etc.

But there were none, so I just turned in our ballots. There are no drop boxes in NC, so if not mailed, absentee ballots are turned into a election worker either at the BOE or an early voting site, and there are limitations on who can turn in a voter's ballot.

In my state, the only ballots an individual can turn is are for themselves or family. The only exception are for caregivers of those that are too infirmed to travel to a polling place or turn in location. They have a very specific list on the instructions, and in addition you have to fill out a form with name of voter, your relationship to them, plus your personal information.

Nonsense.... it only "requires" trusting doctors.

A college-level degree in statistics MIGHT help understanding why you didn't hit Powerball last week but it's in no way required to understand that vaccines AND masks work to prevent infection and hospitalization.

No further validation, questioning, information is needed and especially by a cop or a Trump MEGA asshole.
