House Republican lawmakers are pushing to rename Washington DC’s international airport after former president Donald Trump, who is no stranger to having his name plastered onto the side of large buildings.

Rep Guy Rechenthaler of Pennsylvania, the party’s chief deputy whip in the House, introduced bill HR 7845 on Friday, which proposes changing the airport’s name to “Donald J Trump International Airport”.

Wasn't Dulles a Republican? Interesting that some of his own party now think he should be supplanted by Donald.

I hated flying out of IAD. Even though I was in Reston I would fly out of National and usually could leave the office later than if I was going out of IAD.

I read a headline about this, and now cannot find it again so I can’t give the person the credit he deserves.

Whoever he was said if they are looking to name something after Trump they should look for a prison and not an airport.

I never had any issues with flying in/out of IAD. Not even a contender for top 5 worst airports for me.
