In what marks one of this low points of this presidency, Trump's silence on the passing of Mac Miller rings loud and clear. Why the president who has been so vocal on Mr. Miller in the past can’t even send a simple tweet to the nation is unclear. Stay tuned to CNN as we bring you more breaking coverage as they continue to unfold.

Why would he take time to mention NFL players taking a knee?

Truthfully, that kind of baffles me too...except for a couple of things. Trump has had a very bitter relationship with the NFL for quite a while...and those evil negroes taking a knee gives him something to rally his base around.

In this thread we find out who's old (or at least, out of touch with modern music). Even I knew who Mac Miller was, and I'm an electronic music fan who rarely listens to Top 40 material!

As it stands, I'm not upset that Trump didn't pay tribute to Mac Miller. I'm upset that he's rapidly eroding democracy, hurting the environment and pursuing thinly veiled bigotry.

It's definitely that. Add to the fact they are rich and successful he gets to put those uppidy ingrates in their place.

That is 100pct it.. I dont think Trump is a racist per se, he is something much worse as he has zero moral objections to RALLY a racist base to get to his destination.. He just doesnt care about the aftermath, not his problem.

I have to disagree with part of this statement. Trump is absolutely racist, extremely such. It's just that somehow being a blatant racist isn't the worst thing about him. Might not even make top 5.

Our democracy has been challenged since day one, it's what makes us stronger.

So what's a few of his good 'songs'?

This is what you consider a low point?

Did you not get the Joke? CNN's headline was "Trump's been silent about Mac Miller's death, but for years he tweeted at him". The joke here is that CNN felt it worthy enough to post this. What the OP did was to joke by making it bait for people like you to think it was his position.

Don't equivocate, please. You know damn well that Trump (and the modern GOP) has levels of contempt for the democratic system and free press that haven't been seen in decades.

As for song recs: "Self Care," "Cinderella," "My Favorite Part," among others... also, why the air quotes?

Oh, you mean he is trolling.

P&N's posting guidelines, which serve to supplement the AnandTech Forum posting rules, are as follows:
1. No thread-crapping, thread-derailment, off-topic posting, trolling, the intentional posting of logical fallacies or misinformation.

Its the OP's MO, of course.
