I agree why can't he be like Obama and never take any down time.

You're like a record stuck on an extremely annoying song, repeating this nonsense trope. But no better is expected from you, so carry on.

Wouldn't most people have the weekend off, after the inauguration, including White House staff, who would be able to give him an orientation? Is he supposed to orient him self. Is it a delivery where they say, see the keys, see the house, see ya? I don't know about that article the OP posted, seems dodgy, as well.

I made no claim either way about who has taken more vacations. There was a little sarcasm involved. I told no lies.

I was only pointing out that ALL Presidents have some down time. Trump has been going 7 days a week for quite some time. It isn't like he will ignore everything during his down time. Just like Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan etc.....

The original post is way too much to do about Nothing.

Meh, I'm not a Trump guy but I'd wager that Trumps total hours worked will exceed most modern Presidents.

While I don't really care I thought his justification was hilarious:

I mean my day one is gonna be Monday because I don’t want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration/QUOTE]

Yes. The three days worth of non-stop partying all for him...

Wait, so the OP hates everything Trump wants to do but is still outraged that he won't begin doing it immediately. That's a pretty impressive case of Trump Derangement Syndrome right there.

A better tact would be to celebrate Trump's decision and figure out why he needs to take Congress with him. And maybe wonder how many of the Democrats boycotting the inauguration will be working the weekend. (Hint: Petting your comfort animal and coloring your 'adult coloring book' for comfort are not examples of working even if you do it at the office.)

@werepossum Surely making America Great Again is not some task you can do in the middle of pissing about with sex slaves Jeffrey Epstein? Sounds like some sorta 7 days a week job if you ask me.

I was actually thinking the exact same thing, almost word for word. Except about the OP. It's the same type of topics every time, and the same insults of almost half Americans the every time.

Dont know what to say, if you coin it, you own it ;).
You heard it here first folks, the "Trump Derangement Syndrome" - as coined by @werepossum

;) j/k
lol I would happily own it, but I'm not the first to use it. And it's really just an evolution of Bush Derangement Syndrome and Clinton Derangement Syndrome. Hell, we even need to retroactively recognize Reagan Derangement Syndrome, as some leftists still get apoptoplectic when Reagan is mentioned.

Get right down to it, it's "My side lost and I didn't even get my participation trophy" Derangement Syndrome. lol

That's fine. He can take the whole 4 years off.

We're only paying him a dollar/yr anyway right?

Sounds like a win.

I never had a weekend off called a vacation, but oh well.

Pro Trump people should be the annoyed and the anti-Trump happy as it will be a couple days of status quo.

Maybe I bought one too many violins and bags of popcorn.

I'm outraged! Outraged I tell you!

With all the policies that Trump might enact there is certainly much reason for concern but this is petty crap. Reps did the same thing with Obama out of the gate with secret Muslim Birther nonsense (could be an anime series) and those folks got marginalized quickly by people not already indoctrinated. Dems could do the same by constant whining over the most trivial things. Like background noise it will be tuned out and when legitimate issues come up their constant complaining will not have helped them.

Learn from your enemies people.

Can he stay on vacation?

I wasn't expecting Il Douche to even approach Obama's work load for the 1st 100 days, but going on vacation as Item #1? Lame. Repubs will defend this lazy shit the same way they defended Dubya holing up in Texas, or John Boehner's important work on an infrastructure plan from the golf course.
