Well, that didn't last long...

Yesterday, Trump's new campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said that Trump does not hurl "personal insults."

Today Trump called another female media person (Mika Brzezinski) "off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!" He also called her and her co-host (Joe Scarborough) "two clowns."

A couple of hours later his campaign said Trump will start acting more presidential.

Hmm... when do you suppose that will happen?

Meanwhile, I was flabbergasted today with Brianna Keeler, one of the CNN sleek sisters who strikes me as someone who grew up in the Midwest or Minne-so-o-ta -- from her accent.

She's talking with other talking heads about the "15,000 new e-mails resurrected," which State says may be duplicates or personal [in addition to those I might deduce as "Sears, Home-Depot," etc.]

And the issue about the Colin Powell "readjustment" to less accurate facts about his advice to Clinton about e-mails.

So Keeler suggests that government officials "weren't using e-mail in those days -- not the way they do today -- and they maybe used FAX . . . "

IS SHE KIDDING?! IS SHE KIDDING?! AH BEEN AROUN', YOU KNOW!! E-MAIL WAS A PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATIONS WHEN I WORKED IN GOVERNMENT DURING 1995. WE STOPPED USING "FAX" AFTER PDF ATTACHMENTS COULD BE SENT WITH E-MAIL.

Nothing has changed since after the 2000 election, except with the use of mobile devices with TXT. It was in the early part of the last decade [correction: maybe late '90s] when courts ruled that e-mail should be considered "legal documents" along with signed paper contracts, deeds, and anything else.

What's that silly b**** trying to do?! I always thought she was bright. Wondered if she might not have a slight water-retention issue, but she keeps the baby-fat under good control.

FOLKS! THIS CRAP is coming from your mythical Clinton News Network -- formerly the Communist News Network with Commie Chung and Red Turner!

If they let CNN spin distortions like this one even in their punster-table-talk sessions, there's no ballast -- no anchor! [That's supposed to be funny. . . But this really isn't funny, either . . .]

I read this too, I don't believe Morning Joe has huge ratings but I don't believe they're horrible either. Why pick a fight with two people who have an audience and a 3 hour morning show that's on Monday to Friday. Makes no sense other that protecting your huge ego.

Some meme master should take this video and superimpose Trump's face over the crying guy's. Then it can be used as a response for the neverending crybaby pee pants tirades he goes on.

I've heard that cry on the Stern show thousands of times. Nice to see the original clip. Thanks

I felt bad for Conway this morning after her comments on the weekend about Trump not throwing out personal insults and being more Presidential. Had to backpedal rapidly to the old "he didn't do it first" we have come to know.

Makes you wonder when reboot 4 will come.

I could apologize for my diversion (post #2) from what seems like the main topic, but in addition to "Trump distortion," we're now assaulted by subtle media distortion -- supposedly from the "center."

When did these Trump surrogates ever fail to lie or distort -- with Pierson, Conway, McEllanie, Epshteyn, Lewandowski and the others looking at the camera like zombies, as if attempting to convince people that they really believe their own bull-crap?

God! I can imagine if all those pod-people saw this post, they'd say "Oh, goodie! I've got name recognition! Big bucks after the election!"

And as for Mika and Joe -- that's amazing! It means they got under Trump's skin! I sometimes watch the "Morning Joe" program in the wee hours. They've both been more than usually critical of Trump in the last few days. But it just shows what I might have said before about Trump.

His business-school training went in one ear and out the other. Didn't hire statistical staff; didn't plan his campaign in a professional manner. Supposedly Conway was a "pollster?" I'll bet she doesn't know the margin of error from a sample of 1,000. I'll bet she doesn't know what the Gauss-Markov Theorem is. But I DO bet that she knows how to design a survey to purposely bias the sample results.

Pollster?! My ass!

It's the Windows ME of presidential campaigns.

At 1:17 in the video Mika says
Let me just say, he belts it out like... honestly... like he's had a lot to drink. He does.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/03/u...p-lessons-from-a-brothers-suffering.html?_r=0

For Mr. Trump, a presidential candidate whose appeal is predicated on an aura of toughness, personal achievement and perpetual success, the story of Freddy, a handsome, gregarious and self-destructive figure who died as an alcoholic in 1981 at the age of 43, is bleak and seldom told.

In a telephone interview last week, Mr. Trump said he had learned by watching his brother how bad choices could drag down even those who seemed destined to rise. Seeing his brother suffering led him to avoid ever trying alcohol or cigarettes, he said.

So his brother died from alcoholism, enough of an impact that he never drank. You would expect Mika would have enough self-awareness and sense to draw a line instead of attacking him over such a personal issue.

But its good to see the usual deluded jackasses on this forum going off without any clue of the facts of a situation. And I know there is no line liberals won't cross to reach their objective.

So the fuck what? This again illustrates how easy it is to trigger the man. Want to compare it to the shit that's been said about Obama, or Clinton. See how they responded? You don't think someone wanting to be President of the United States should be a little more stable?

You're missing the entire point.

"Don't pick a fight with a man who buys ink by the barrel" or in the modern era, "Don't pick a fight with a person who can run videos of you picking your nose and scratching your ass 24/7".

I imagine the HQ staffers must be able to power a small town what with all the daily back-pedaling they have to do. :)
