Ready to queue up the excuses?

Blame the media

Blame Milley even though we don’t know who revealed this anecdote. Multiple people heard it

Blame it on TDS

I think likely response is try to ignore the story or just deny it taking a chance neither Pence or Milley will publicly confirm story. One thing we do know neither Trump or any of his supporters really care about our troops.
In those circles (I’ve taken the algorithm on a ride down the depraved depths on facebook cause I like self punishment…), there is a new moniker in use akin to TDS.
PDS.
Putin Derangement Syndrome. Shit you not. The “rather be a Russian” is real.

Yet another belief righties claim that turns out to be bullshit

My last count their only true professed beliefs

Tax cuts for the rich
Conservative judges at any cost (corruption included)
Control of women’s healthcare (not just abortion, birth control)

What needle? Half the country thinks this kind of behavior is ok, or justified, or just won't believe it.

It's beyond hilarious that conservatives will blame those two teens killing that cyclist on "moral decay," but then turn around and enthusiastically continue to support Trump and the dehumanization of their fellow citizens. Can't even make this shit up.

It's funny how you consider yourself well, not a repug, and yet you consistently use the same delusional language they do. Even funnier, you seem to believe it. Tell us, why the hard on for so drastically overestimating the numbers of Team Treason? Just habit, from all the Fox?

Repugs account for 29% of registered voters as of 2020, and it's only gone down from there thanks to covid, Trump, and old age. You trying to represent that group as 50% of the US population is *drum roll* shit you just made up.

I wish people would stop acting like the 14th Amendment is just a suggestion. He admitted his crimes already FFS.

This psycho is unequivocally as ineligible as he is unfit for office, and he seems determined to prove it nearly every day. Really looking forward to when this guy can't fuck the country anymore, is just an unpleasant memory. C'mon 2024, let the smiting begin!

It's clear he's unfit. It's clear he's ineligible. It's, unfortunately, also clear there's a not insignificant portion of the population who could walk in on him raping their children after murdering their spouse and would still vote for him.

You're going to need to get SCOTUS to deem him ineligible and that's... not going to happen.

I think there's 5 members who would uphold it if Trump declares himself god pharaoh for life. Roberts would dissent only disagreeing with the "for life" part.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Trump's own actions and admissions mean Section 3 couldn't apply to him more perfectly. By law, it would appear what they need is to get Congress to clear him to run. Or various states saying he can't be on the ballot works for me too, preferably well within 2024. Appeal away magats. Fwiw, I had people telling me SCOTUS ruling against Alabama wasn't going to happen either.

I hear what you're saying but we both also know that he's not going to get disqualified without SCOTUS giving the nod.

The law means absolutely nothing here - this is all politics.

I'd still like to see the 'honorable' side of Congress, the ones who respect their oaths of office, follow the law. There being a lot of fucked in the head magats out there isn't a compelling reason to afford Trump the Traitor the ability to ignore the Constitution, at least IMO.

The Dems fulfilled their Constitutional obligations during the impeachments, prompted by overwhelming evidence. I think they should be doing the same here. If the GQP wants to go on Congressional record again by putting a traitor ahead of the country, once again pissing on the Constitution they swore to uphold, well that's certainly their choice I suppose.

The Senate already blew their chances twice. Now they and we have to live with their abdication of leadership.

Trump might have committed another felony today. Or not. But he probably did.

Trump was in a gun shop admiring a gun with his face on it. Someone with his campaign posted a video where he talked about wanting to buy it, not realizing that it would be a felony because Trump is under indictment for a bunch of other felonies.

Then the campaign deleted the video, but MTG and her boyfriend, who were with Trump, helpfully confirmed that he actually purchased it.

I dunno.... I find it hard to believe that Trump would pay for anything. Could the store owner give it to him? I'm assuming that would still be illegal? correct?

Lol ... Loser Donald films himself committing the same crime Hunter Biden is accused of, panics and deletes the tweet. In a bizarre coincidence, a Glock pistol with the image of Trump on its stock was found in a trash can near the gun store.

Don't gun stores have to run background check? Yank their licence as well.

Edited funny typo.

Yes, the crime is Trump coming into possession of the gun while under federal felony indictment - he would not need to have bought it.

Although it’s pretty funny that their legal defense here is that they’re all just huge liars.

Real question is what’s Kevin McCarthy thinking right now?

I bet it’s some variation of “That Dumb Mother Fucker”

I would like to assume every time Hunter Bidens gun comes up this would however many Democrats are too decorum focused and it probably won’t be delivered in an effective manner
