Just so you understand the gravity of this. Trump was willing to disclose a secret weapons system and tell Woodward the seriousness of COVID but wasn't willing to tell the American people the truth about the virus.

Think about this, there is a good change Trump disclosed this weapons system to Putin and Kim. Trump refuses to have notes taken in meetings. Trump kicked out the notetaker in Trump's meeting with Putin. For those who will say Trump would never betray his country like that, early in his term he divulged top secret intelligence to Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office

Provides a bit more context around why Russia decided to abandon 2 critical non-proliferation agreements under Trump.

“I have built a nuclear — a weapons system that nobody’s ever had in this country before. We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about,” Trump told Woodward, according to the Post.

“We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before,” Trump added, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. “There’s nobody — what we have is incredible.”

That's... it? Oh !@#$, the United States has nuclear weapons - ALERT THE MEDIA! Someone tell Putin!

There are zero details here. Meaning nothing of consequence or meaning.

Yeah, Trump should keep his month shut. But I personally know of multiple new nuclear weapons programs (the existence of which are not classified). The fact we have new nuke programs on going really isn't much of a secret, unless he gave more details than shown here.

I could understand not publishing the details, but there is no text here indicating there were any to begin with.

It doesn't look like he disclosed anything really. Just a lot of bragging as usual.

Woodward’s book says unnamed sources later confirmed a new weapons system but would not provide any further details and were surprised that Trump had disclosed it, the Post reported.

Odd that the unnamed sources felt it was OK to confirm a new weapons system and at the same time surprised that Trump mentioned it.

How the hell from that can you conclude he didn't disclose anything significant? Also how to you conclude bragging about something means it's ok to disclose it? The fact people were surprised Trump disclosed it indicates it wasn't supposed to be disclosed.

Is that a double hitch of a sailors knot your brain is tied in?

I guess the same way you concluded that he did disclose something significant. The article certainly did not have anything of significance.

Why did these alleged sources confirm it if it was so secret? Hmmm?

Any day of the week you could probably say the US is working on a secret nuclear weapon and more often than not you would be correct.

It was already a known fact we were developing reduced yield warheads. Not that reduced yield warheads are anything new. They have been around since the late 1960's in the 11 K Ton range. Probably now we are making better reduced yield warheads with a better delivery system is more accurate.

Also:

It is something important. It means we were breaking several international treaties, and is very likely why Russia pulled out of the non-proliferation agreements.
The thing is simple statements like that tell a lot more then the person saying them knows (at least if that person is as simple as Trump). He very likely confirmed some intel that other countries had and changed them from 'possible to probably' to 'confirmed and actionable'.

Also:
The military is loaded with insignificant things classified secret. That makes a lot of sense. Why else would people who were aware of these weapons be "surprised" Trump revealed it? Because they were insignificant?

Logic fail 101

I don't see what PCbaby is saying but he should know better as he was squid, not sure if he was a boomer. Never scoped him as a nuke.
