Still waiting for all those peer reviewed papers authored by Curry vis a vis her critique of what's wrong with current climate science and its overwhelming agreement on global climate change and causes. Prefer something within the last decade.

I would think, though, as a person like myself who has deep appreciation for all the full spectrum of traditional values and that fall naturally into a conservative perspective and mind set, that a deeply rationl and fundamentally appealing argument could easily be mounted against this notion you present. From a strictly orthodox conservative position, but not the enlightened one I consider myself to hold, the idea of questioning authority is an anathema. That is what liberals, with their limitedly focused moral concerns would do, challenge norms and ideas deeply seated in our culture because of their ancient utility and survival value generally. You may consider yourself to be some kind of revolutionary, contrarian, or rebel, but among liberals those are a dime a dozen. The only time that established order and traditional methodologies should be challenged is when conditions require updating due to ossification or loss of proper application.
