She's got more balls than I do...I'd be afraid I'd end up waking up in a ditch after being "accidentally" knocked over that guardrail...or being swarmed by agents after "threatening" the President.

What's wrong with being a leftist?

The terms "Leftists" and "The Left" are watermarks. Not actual people.
Those watermarks are used in conversations to let the receiver know that some BS is about to be re-spewed.
Those terms, when combined with other watermarks can be used to identify the source material that talking points in question are based on. Whether its marketing arm of the GOP or Breitbart or Fox and Friends or even going back to the days of fringe nut job sites...they all have established watermarks.

It used to be "Liberals" back in the day but in 2008 they switched it. After analyzing focus group test results, it was found that "liberals" invoked images of urban Caucasians.and suburban upper middle class.
Researchers felt the terms Leftist and the left invoked more imagery of latinos and blacks (the Che Guuvara effect). With a darky in the whitehouse, it was imperative to find language that allowed demonizing a broader range of demographics.

I prefer moderates. People too caught up in one sided dogma are not my style. I try to look at things from as many people's perspectives as possible. Flexibility. Willingness to try new things. Open mindedness. I would never get along with a hardcore leftie or a hardcore rightie in the long run. I can take their perspective in short doses but their dogma and close mindedness and their emotionalism would get to me in the end.

The people flaming Trump are missing the big picture... hating the haters is only a step above being a hater. Better to rise above that...

There is some debate as to those are even gov vehicles. He must have driven by a lot further up. Doubt he saw it.

I pretty much hate all the labels. They are a lazy way of saying "I don't want to think about all the issues, I'd prefer to just lump myself into this group here and go with whatever they do."

Not to mention, the "group" isn't a set-in-stone thing. One person's "Liberal" isn't liberal at all to someone else.

Most people are all over the map if they are honest with themselves. I know gun-toting 2nd amendment people that socially are as leftie as you can be for example.

My voting has become very easy in the past couple decades. I consider myself an Independent and in a vacuum would vote for candidates from either party. However--the GOP has gone so batshit insane (IMO of course) that I simply vote against them across the board. Local or national elections. And "against them" means I vote for the candidate that might actually beat them, so no protest votes for Gary Johnson or whatnot. I vote (D) because (R) must go down.

There isn't debate if you look closely. The top of the Presidential Suburban is visible on the left edge just above the last vehicle. it's moved far to the left to put distance between POTUS and the cyclist.

There are other motorcade pics showing the same vehicles. Same plate sequence.

And it's a female who did it too. Now if that don't get Trump riled up enough to give Melania a really good yelling at over the phone I don't know what will.

Eh I don't think so, but I may be wrong. First two vehicles don't look like US gov vehicles, they would be support vehicles but zero atenas ect, and they don't have US gov tags from what I can see. The furthest vehicle doesn't appear to have any armor like the SUV below. It's probably the rear of the motorcade we are seeing in that picture. He was probably further up front, the motorcades can have up to 30 vehicles. By the time she decided to flip him off and he probably long gone.

The vehicles I posted are literally the same. Read the plate on the rear vehicle in both pics.

Aaaaaand she's fired. Don't flip off the President when you're a civilian contractor and then share it on your own social media proudly.

The picture, snapped by a White House photographer traveling with the president as he left his golf course in Sterling, Va., went viral almost immediately. News outlets picked up the story when it appeared in a White House pool report. Late-night talk show hosts told jokes about the encounter and people on social media began hailing the unidentified woman as a “she-ro,” using the hashtag #Her2020.

The woman’s name is Juli Briskman. Her employer, government contractor Akima LLC, wasn’t so happy about the photo. They fired her over it.

In a Saturday interview with HuffPost, Briskman, a 50-year-old mother of two, said she was stunned that someone had taken a picture of her giving Trump the middle finger.

As the photo circulated online, Briskman decided to tell Akima’s HR department what was happening when she went to work on Monday. By Tuesday, her bosses called her into a meeting and said she had violated the company’s social media policy by using the photo as her profile picture on Twitter and Facebook.

“They said, ‘We’re separating from you,‘” said Briskman. “Basically, you cannot have ‘lewd’ or ‘obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off ‘obscene.’”

Lovely standards at this company:

Virginia is an employment-at-will state, meaning employers can fire people anytime and for any reason. But Briskman said what’s been particularly infuriating is that a male colleague kept his job after recently posting lewd comments on his Facebook page that featured Akima LLC as his cover photo. She said this colleague was reprimanded for calling someone “a fucking Libtard asshole” on Facebook, but was allowed to delete the post and keep his job.
