Trump is taking actions that are going to far, I don't like that. I fully expect those actions to be challenged and heard by the Supreme Court and setteled there.
If you want me to say That supporting Trump was a mistake, that's not going to happen yet. Though it might in the future.
 
Penalizing career civilian federal employees (while ignoring federal contracting and the DOD) in the spirit of reducing the federal budget is completely disingenuous. Civilian federal employee salary is only 1.4% of the federal budget (Source: CBO). DOD contracting is 6.5% of the total federal budget (Source: CBO).

This isn't about reducing federal spending (the deficit ballooned during Trumps first admin). It's about loyalty and firing those who Trump thinks are part of the deep state.

As a civilian federal employee myself (forestry) - fuck Trump and his cronies. They're messing with my family and my livelihood.

I don't have an issue with trimming down the federal government, I do have major problems with a loyalty test for employees. For appointments, I would expect those to go to supporters. You never hire anyone that hates you.

The number of federal employees working for the federal government has remained pretty much constant since the 1970's, while the US population has soared in comparison.

What the retarded burnt orange Cheeto is doing now is far beyond just political appointees. He is attempting to overthrow the entire US governmental system.

All within 9 days of taking office.
 
Trump demanding loyalty from his underlings is a sure sign of his vulnerable insecurities, his paranoia, his total lack of confidence in his abilities to inspire the respect and honor of the people that he is the supposed leader of.

Instead, he simply makes demands. He uses fear and threats to enforce his will on his workforce. He demands respect from people because he cannot earn it the hard way, the right way. He is Hollow Man. There is absolutely no way for a man of his ilk, in his position of ultimate power to acquire the backing of the people he must rely on to make the nation work like it should.

What he does inspire is covert resistance like you would see in a POW Camp. Like you would see operatives in guerrilla warfare fighting against their oppressors.

I think this clip is all one needs to see to realize the measure of that bully charlatan con artist demanding his way around people:
