TBH I'm way too much of an atheist for any of that. And I'm not evangelical at all. I would not see dealing with this guy as an opportunity to show him the error of his ways. I don't roll that way. He does him, I do me. If he's been filling his brain with bullshit for years on end, I have to figure he's a lost cause. Why can't you? Just because he's a 1/2 decent plumber doesn't mean shit to me. I needed an exceptional plumber because it was a challenging plumbing problem. My "friend" wasn't able to fix it when he came over with his truck outfitted for taking on all the plumbing issues he'd faced for decades. I figured that a Fox News watcher is exactly the plumber I did not want. Very good chance he would have fucked it up. I figure I would be stupid to let him try. Just because he was used to charging less than the other guys? Pure folly.Gosh, you missed an opportunity to hire him and give him a tip and tell him you're a liberal and have heard that he isn't and wanted him to know he has value as a fellow human being anyway. But, I understand that is an attitude that not everyone shares, that most people believe that what they believe is the good but might not actually be. I'm gullible. I try to see the good in people and it's easier for me because I know why they aren't superficially. Since I think we create the world to the level of our vision why not shoot for the image of God as a return of the favor he gave to us.
