On the plus side, sounds like Tulsi the fascist asset is failing miserably in her quest to shore up Senate support.

“She was proving to be a little shallow, like a House member talking at a hearing and not someone who needs to provide the president’s daily intelligence briefing,” the source familiar said. Two Senate Republicans also echoed the concerns, with one noting that multiple members who have sat down with the former Democratic Hawaii congresswoman have come away unimpressed thus far. "

“I’ve heard that she’s not very well prepared. … I’ve heard not great things,” the Senate GOP member said, describing them as “BS sessions.”

Way to go Tulsi haha

It's encouraging, but I'll believe it when I see it acted on. If Trump is going to do Bibi's bidding and go after a weakened Iran (and I think he will), they might want people at the helm who don't represent a massive loss of experience and knowledge. I mean that both personally via a gigantic absence of experience and smarts, but also through the purging of gays and women from positions they've trained to be in.

Please, someone remind Hegseth how ISIS came to be, how the Cheney admin helped give it's leadership a place to gestate without being monitored much - by firing all the gay terps. America and her allies pay for your kind's ideological myopia - and we're sick of it!

He better not get confirmed. His drinking alone should disqualify him.

Looks like the rest of the world would be better off if America becomes a third rate nation unable to wipe its own ass. Slime rushes in where beauty exists dragging all higher aspirations down. Everywhere the light shines through on a self hating world the urge to snuff it out becomes irresistible.

I can't believe the polio thing, wow. RFK Jr bringing back the iron lung I guess? So ridiculous.

John Willink is drinking the Tulsi and Pete Koolaid too sounds like, I just lost so much respect for him. These aren't learn on the job positions Jocko, don't preach about duty, skill, national security and leadership if you can't be honest with yourself (or others) regarding fitness for duty.

Il Douche isn't even in office yet, and his rot is already spreading, fucking things over...
This is just the end result of celebrating contrarian idiots.

Turds, sorry, asshole autocorrect... Birds of a feather are shitheads together;

00dc-hegseth-bodyguard-01-cgpf-jumbo.jpg

When Pete Hegseth visited senators on Capitol Hill this month in an effort to show that he has the qualifications and judgment to lead the Defense Department, he was escorted by a security guard with a dark episode in his past. ... The guard, a former Army Special Forces master sergeant named John Jacob “Jay” Hasenbein, left the military after a 2019 training event in which witnesses said he beat a civilian role player — kicking him, punching him and leaving him hogtied in a pool of his own blood.

The betting markets think Trump is likely to get his way, even with his worst picks.

Pete Hegseth had crashed as low as 12% two weeks ago, and is how a solid 2-1 favorite.

Presidents usually get their way on appointees so I would be surprised if Trump's weren't confirmed. We might see some theatrics out of the Republicans but they'll line up. It's hard to make a national security argument stick when Trump himself is a treasonous felon.

Do you bet in Polymarket? I know nothing about it, just heard of it.

No, not something I'd partake in. But they are the best known betting market, so their odds are probably fairly reflective overall.

I have no idea what the predictive power is, but was merely pointing out that the trend indicates Hegseth went from a long shot to a likely (but not guaranteed) confirmation. Tulsi Gabbard is widely considered a Putin shill/mole, and is getting similar odds.

Next up for Director of National Intelligence, a homophobic activist (except for the years she pretended to be a democrat) Hara Krishna trained cultist. In 2020 moved to NH before running in the NH primary, and after getting only 3% of the vote screamed "rigged"

And MAGA America's favorite puppy killer (and goat killer), who, while governor hawked a Texas cosmetic dentist, and abuse her powers to get her daughter a real estate license, all qualifications to be Homeland Security Secretary.

And the man that Trump claimed he "never heard of" only two days after nominating him to be his AG during Trump's first term. Say hello to the new NATO Ambassador

And to head the IRS, an uneducated huckster buffoon that has stated he wants to abolish the IRS, while peddling a scheme to illegally evade paying taxes. There is no bottom.

I think chicken livers and sweetbreads and chicken hearts are all very delicious. Don't insult offal by comparing to that piece of shit taj!
Just saw this, for the record, I was not using definition #1 :)
of·fal
/ˈôf(ə)l,ˈäf(ə)l/
noun
noun: offal; plural noun: offals

  • the entrails and internal organs of an animal used as food.
"eating pieces of braised offal turned his stomach"
  • refuse or waste material.
"the packing plant dumped its offal into the stream"
  • decomposing animal flesh.
"gulls pecking at piles of offal from the narwhal hunt"
