I'm a bit surprised this has taken off and has the traction it has, to me multiple other of his statements were far worse. After all the GOP faithful have already tolerated his vicious attacks on a gold star family and only opening mocking Jesus would be more antithetical to purported GOP core values. The one thing about this tape though, the more you see it the more cringe worthy it becomes. Given that this tape was made shortly after Trump married his current wife I strongly suspect wife #3 is making him sleep on the coach now at a minimum.

I predict there will be lots and lots of similar accusations in the next few days. Most won't have the undeniable documentation this incident has.

The good point to come out of this-Trump actually apologized, or at least mouthed the words. Probably the first time he has apologized for anything since third grade. OTOH both "apologies" were pretty clearly scripted by his staff, only the tail end of his second "apology" (the promised attacks on BIll Clinton) sound authentic Trump. Trump is a complete fool if he thinks his attacks on Bill Clinton have any effect at all on Hillary's support.

He's promised again to appear at Sunday's debate, it's going to be great watching Hillary get under his thin skin again.
