I never said anything about Comey. I only said the investigation is about Russia trying to influence our election (still not sure why more people sare not more outraged at Russia for this) and that Trump pardoning Flynn would not have ended the investigation. Are you a fan of Putin and Russia? Do you not see what a threat they are? Should the president be concerned about what Russia did?

The more I see the more I realize that Trump is actually giving House of Cards a run for its money. Frank and Claire are starting to pale in comparison to the circus in D.C. and I don't expect for this to change. I hope that church people are happy about their choice this cycle. I wonder how long it will be until Jerry Falwell is seen at the WH with King Trump. Will we be able to distinguish his lip marks from the rest of the king's cronies?

Russia acts in its own interests... and so does the USA when it comes to elections in a lot of other countries. We try to influence elections (under the guise of promoting "democracy"), and at various times have overthrown legitimately elected foreign governments when things don't go our way (most recently Libya, but Iran in the 50s is an example). Its a bit strange to be shocked that another country would be interested in tilting things their way if they could. i really doubt that they could have enough of an effect to have made a difference however.

The funny thing to me is the entire mentality i am seeing with lots of Dems... its the same mentality that i notice a lot of Russians have when it comes to thinking that the CIA has somehow infiltrated their country... a kind of mass hysteria almost about foreign influence. Just join a nationalist Russian forum sometime, and inevitably you'll have folks that will accuse you of being a CIA spy of some sort. Same kind of conspiritorial mentality i see here in the USA among some of my fellow Americans when it comes to Russia.

It doesn't help that the Russians that they get fed a steady stream of TV propoganda much like what we have here as well.

This is a very strange thing to say. Why would it matter if the US does it to other countries? The US bombs other countries quite frequently and you can bet we would be mighty pissed off if someone tries to bomb us.

As for whether or not it would make a difference, all you need is a sum total of 70,000 extra votes for Clinton or 35,000 switched votes in three large states. It could absolutely have had an effect

Using the S&P 500 a benchmark, the "Obama market" returned 235% during his "reign" which was absolute 1400 points.

Maybe you're referring to the DOW which went from 6400 (which was the low point in March ish?) to 20000 during his time?
