Trump/Vance deserved worse.. "IF" he did say that, he should have said it in English.

-If he did say that and they understood it too... then they should have just called him on it instead of putting on whatever the fuck display that was.

People will twist themselves into pretzels for this cult.

Visitors to the WH are learning...

1) Stroke Trump's ego
2) Ignore Vance or nod occasionally
3) Smile and joke
4) Sign deal and leave

Don't bother standing up for anything or explaining anything. Do that only in writing.

The end.
In other words you'd better learn how to slob a knob, Hock Tooey style?

In other words, ignore the noise and get the deal done.

You obviously don't know how to handle adversity instead you step in traps and get held back by inexpeneriene.

You're fired.

This all feels like it was inevitable. It's the long tail of the fall of communism. Once the collective threat was no longer there to unite the global capitalist classes, they've gone back to great-power rivalries again. Hence tariffs and America First. "America First" has been waiting to happen since the Berlin Wall came down.

Half the population needs an internal and external "other" to make them want to cooperate with people who don't look and believe the exact same thing as they do.

The other half of the population is ready to start knocking down barriers that create the "other" classification to begin with... and for the first half of the population, that is a direct attack on their "identity", which is why they scream about it being "identity politics" and also scream about how they're being victimized.

Conservatives have idealized the barriers that separate people into separate identities. And if you try to knock those barriers down too fast, they'll vote for people to murder you. Don't believe me? Just listen to their ridiculous rhetoric.
