Trump all the way out of the closet.

Tell me, would you have known that lion-Trump/Pence logo would be associated with some obscure white supremacist from Europe? It isn't like Trump is sitting there putting these videos together on a laptop at his desk.... Probably nothing more than someone found while making the video and put it in there. But carry on detectives, you've really cracked the case. FFS.

Dance harder!!!

They may have well used the Nazi or KKK logo. That logo was created by, and used by, a white supremacist organization as their logo 3 fucking years ago.

Today, the trump campaign has the EXACT SAME LOGO as their campaign logo.

Keep dancing. Meanwhile, the rest of the world sees this for what it is: More links between Trump and his campaign and white supremacist groups.

Look how fucking stupid you look. You didn't even understand what happened before you posted to defend Trump. You got the story exactly backwards and you STILL are trying to play it off.

I wouldn't (president or not) use an image I found in a publicly displayed video I was going to share with my millions of followers around the world. FFS

This is the important part showing how dumb and blind Slow really is with things.
He at first had the story ENTIRELY backwards and defends it as such.
Then, when it's pointed out to him, he doesn't acknowledge that, he goes for the "how was Trump/his campaign even supposed to know" defense.

Slow, just admit you fucked up here and that it wasn't the best idea for them to use this logo in the video. Even if it was sheer coincidence they, like ANY COMPANY ON EARTH should have done some due-diligence in where the logo came from before using it.

I only skimmed through the OP, but tell me if I have this correctly interpreted, please. A white supremacy group used a particular lion-Trump logo or picture at some point. In a video Trump posted, that same lion-Trump logo showed up. Therefore, Trump is a white supremacist. Is that the gist of it?
Trump uses Mussolini quote. European Fascists make logo pertaining to this. Trump campaign somehow finds this logo, obviously by accident, they wouldn't be regular viewers of such websites!! Trump campaign uses logo inspired by Mussolini quote and made by fascists.

so there's a question as to whether the trump campaign was already using the logo and the supremecists adopted it: date on this imgur post is february 17, 2016:

(don't want to auto embed and not seeing a don't parse option grrr)

Grasp at those straws. Do you guys realize how ridiculous you sound here? You honestly... I mean... holy shit. I thought TDS was just a thing to say about people that sound extreme, but you really think this means Trump is a white supremacist, don't you?

Will he cater to them if he thinks, and he do and he does, it will win him 2020.......

That wasn't posted by the Trump campaign, nor does it appear anywhere else. Looks like the artist uploaded it hoping it would be adopted:

"This is the best symbol I've seen for Trump. Please upvote it, for more visibility, on both Reddit, and Google. Make America Great Again!"

unfortunately no one dates anything on the internet so even if you specify things from prior to march, 2016, you find all sorts of stuff afterward.

They'll grasp for even the smallest of straws.

Lions would be offended by being associated with Trump.

I once saw a lion that reminded me of Trump. It was a stuffed toy being violently molested by this Russian kid who looked as if he was experiencing premature balding. Don't know why he was wearing what looked like a karate or jiu-jitsu gi though.

So why put your foot in your mouth if you have no clue.....like you said -- you only skimmed.....

You're close, the real issue is, who copied from whom? It wasn't a white supremacist copying from Trump does affirming his support for Trump, it was Trump, copying from a white supremacist, thus affirming his support for white supremacy.

Thought you were brighter than that.,

Whats YOUR explanation, Slow? Why would Trump use a logo from The Lion Guard, who got their name in reference to Mussolini's quote that Trump tweeted in 2016 "It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep."?

Seriously. Whats your explanation?

You really have to wonder, with the number of times they have "accidentally" borrowed from white supremacists, retweeted them in error etc... At what point does it not become an accident? At what point do you need to look at something else as the explanation of why it keeps happening. This has been since the dawn of his admin.

My vote is before, during and after the 1st time.

I'm not one to cast them all as dyed in the wool, sheet wearing klansmen. But I will assume they all are likley to judge a book by its cover (skin color) without hesitation. I think too that it's a clear wink/nod to those that ARE sheet wearing klansmen as to which side of the fence they should belong to.

How would anyone have known that is some white supremacist symbol in a small European country? That video was probably put together by a staffer that used pics and visuals that they found to knew of. I think it is a pretty uphill battle to say this somehow means Trump is a white supremacist.

Thats bullshit man. You cant expect me to believe the Trump people are internet stupid...

THIS is from 2016. Heres a statement fropm them:

With your help the Lion Guard can put law enforcement and other security forces on notice about those neo-bolsheviks and their plans to physically harm the convention goers and Mr. Trump.

Then read up on this group...

edit: I, personally, dont think Trump is some big white supremacist; however, he's made some terrible choices that reinforce this belief.

Holy shit.

OK, let me get some crayons.

So Trump posted a quote from Mussolini. He was the Italian dictator who invented fascism. NOTHING he ever said is of value to anyone who values freedom or America.

White supremacists online made a logo for their group inspired by Trump's use of the Mussolini quote. That logo appears nowhere else and has only been passed around by white nationalists. They've made their own pro-trump gear with it.

It would have been impossible to NOT know it's source, since they cannot use artwork WITHOUT PERMISSION.

They know who made it, and where it came from and used it anyhow. Did Trump himself know? I guarantee he saw and approved the design. Did he know where it came from? Who cares? The buck stops with him. He is directly responsible for the actions of his subordinates.

There. Did that help? Or do you still want to look dumber than a box of rocks?

I’m sure the President saw it on Twitter and thought it was cool. He’s impulsive and lazy and cheap and doesn’t like doing any work.
That is the problem, he is a professional he should have professionals look into the logo to make sure it’s not copyrighted or being used for some dumb purposes.
This is where the President fails. Zero vetting, zero analysis, zero planning for anything.
