Making an audacious pre-midterm promise, President Trump told reporters in Nevada on Saturday that he is working with Republican congressional leaders on "a very major tax cut for middle-income people," to be announced in early November or just before.

LOL...so much for that YUUUUUUGE tax cut working out for average Americans. Ok, Trump didn't use those words, but why else would you promise new tax cuts right ahead of the midterms (other than because you're a serial liar?)

Yeah, it's the one the house has already passed. Will blow another 3.8 trillion into debt over the next few decades.

The middle class tax cut claim was a sham from the beginning. Removing the individual deductions hasn't been recognized by many and even the higher standard deduction won't make up for it. I'm surprised at how many people think that the standard deduction was expanded and still think they get individual deductions for themselves and their kids. Those with kids over 16 (college for example) will get a surprise, especially if they have multiple children in that position.

Oh, and this is just used to try to buy more votes.

Only Democrats try to by votes by promising freebies. Every conservative knows that.
