Venezuelan opposition leader Machado 'grateful' to Trump after giving him her Nobel medal

President Donald Trump met with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado at the White House Thursday, where she said she presented him with her Nobel medal.

I wonder if the course of US foreign policy and recent agressive hegemonism (Venezuela, Greenland) were a childish tantrum response to not receiving the prize officially by the institute. That if they gave it to him he may not have undertaken these actions towards these countries. Really think this is the way his petty little mind works.

I don't think there's any need. If Donald and his supporters fail to see how accepting the medal makes him look like a spoiled child who needs a participation trophy, that's on them. Dignifying it with an official response only adds insult to injury.
