All things considered (seriously, the polls become boring because they're meaningless and just display "noise" that fluctuates", YES, it seems as the two sides are pretty much tied - and as I said elsewhere it will all come down VOTER TURNOUT.

Pointless to follow polls. Voter turnout will decide this election.

The USC tracking poll, which has had a pro-Trump lean this entire cycle, has had a 6 point swing since Sunday. I would not put too much stock in that sticking. The race is pulling pretty even, which represents a high water mark for Trump, and a low one for Hillary, as has been the case throughout this campaign. Once Hillary starts generating some positive news cycles, and she almost certainly will, particularly after the debates, she will pull back ahead.
 
The polls are tightening, although more concerning is that Trump is surging in Ohio and Florida.

This was Hillary's election to lose and it looks like she might manage to do just that.

On average, Clinton leads Trump by a little more than two percentage points in national polls, according to Real Clear Politics. Clinton has a 64% chance of winning the election in the FiveThirtyEight election forecast.

Trump can take Florida and Ohio and still loose. He needs to turn blue states, not just pick up swing states. it's a huge climb for him right now.
