i got a mach speed motherboard V400DBL (yeah, i know, what the heck is that?) from Tiger and the manual says "if ddr sdram clock is set at 166mhz, use only pc2700 ddr. When this motherboard operate at 133MHz, most system will not even boot if non-compliant moduls are used because of the strict timing issues if your ddr modules are not pc2100 compliant, set the ddr sdram clock to 100mhz to ensure system stability" How in the HE-- do i tell what the friggin' factory clock settings are so I can get the correct ddr? I'm not interested in overclocking and after reading the motherboard manual and some articles, I am REALLY confused now!! I've got everything to build the new system, but I never worked with ddr before and I'm beginning to get a real hate for it. I have to have DDR SDRAM so I've got to get the right stuff. 512, I hope.
Somebody please give me a hand, I want to put this together this weekend. Thanks.
