Truely free credit reports?

A while ago, someone posted a link to a site offering free credit reports. There weren't any catches like subscring to a monitoring service or anything. I can't seem to find the link anymore. Couldn't find anything in a search either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wow, never knew I owed so much... Well, it was free except there was no score... for that, you need to pay 5.

It worked for me. Gave me a score (721, w00t!) and some info regarding why my score was what it was.

i scored a 684 with two loans, two credit cards, and a cell phone monthly payment and i'm 20 years old.

How do these type of things affect your credit??

They don't, it's your report after all. Companies like Equifax must send you a copy of your report for free anytime another company looks at it. You gotta ask for it though.
