A while ago, someone posted a link to a site offering free credit reports. There weren't any catches like subscring to a monitoring service or anything. I can't seem to find the link anymore. Couldn't find anything in a search either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Wow, never knew I owed so much... Well, it was free except there was no score... for that, you need to pay 5.

It worked for me. Gave me a score (721, w00t!) and some info regarding why my score was what it was.

I would rather pay a reputable credit bureau $12.95 and get my credit report and credit score but that's just me.

And Skoorb.

You could have done it for free. Always remember the 37th rule of acquisition.;)

They don't, it's your report after all. Companies like Equifax must send you a copy of your report for free anytime another company looks at it. You gotta ask for it though.
