I just recently upgraded my computer from an xp2000 based system. I had an Cooler Master Hyper Tx sitting around so I installed it on my e6600 just to test it out but I didn't expect much. I also ordered a TRUE & I should be receiving it tomorrow.
On my overclocked e6600 (3.6ghz 400X9), I am getting 59c load & 37c idle with the Cooler Master Hyper Tx & 92mm Artic Cooling Fan:
My question is do you think I would see a great increase in cooling performance by installing the TRUE when I receive it tomorrow or should I just leave well enough alone & return/sell the TRUE unopened?
I guess it can't hurt to install the TRUE & test it out but I wanted to see what everyone else thinks first before I have to go through the hassle.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
