3800x2... stock speed (2Ghz) 1080p content is unplayable, I could have to have bought a new CPU but instead I just overclocked my CPU - stable at 2.6Ghz and now I can watch 1080p content without any problems at all.
Your computer is faster for sure, no denying that. But there is a lot going on in a CPU that overclocking does not account for. Such as L1, L2, and L3 cache. And you can't compare one overclock to that of another architecture.
