True Blood Season 3 begins TONIGHT (6/13) @9PM EST

Looking forward to it. Also, they have some kind of 30 minute refresher special on at 8:30. This could very well be the first time I am looking forward to a recap because I honestly can't remember much about how the last season ended.

I guess the lack of responses shows ATOT's opinion of this show. I'll be excited with you, the show is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine...

I've been waiting in suspense for the new season to start, since the last season finished on a cliff hanger.

I'm surprised at the lack of responses, I thought this would be the sort of show that would appeal to ATOT'ers.

The last episode was September 2009 and I couldn't remember what happened. So I just watched the last episode of last year On Demand.

In the last scene Bill disappeared from the French restaurant.

I like the show, but season 2 sucked. They got away from the vamps and focused way too much on Mary Ann and her nonsense. I hope they don't do the same with a new non-vamp baddy.

That Game of Thrones preview they just showed looks interesting...wonder what its about.

Oh yeah, and Boardwalk Empire looks pretty epic.

"Conscience off, dick on."

"If we're going to be roommates, there's a certain amount of pussy overflow you're going to have to deal with"

jason stackhouse is my favorite character on TV

I didn't think the season sucked, but the whole Maynad thing was definitely weak. IMO, it remained a good show in spite of that plotline. I liked the "Fellowship of the Sun" arc.

i enjoyed the episode last nite, but didnt know it was coming back on. and im not sure if i like the direction of the new "foe" in this season, ill pass judgment if it gets worse.

excellent episode. my wife and i have watched all of season 2 on HBO and sesaon 3 started off with a bang. so many memerable scenes. like when eric is doing the stripper in the basement and then talking to sookie nude. I really love pam and I would have her be my maker if i could. the Gay dream Sam had with Bill. my wife and I were like WTF. Lafeyette is awesome i totally love his character and the shit he says makes me laugh. Like when he called Pam a hooker.... Jason telling the hot babes he cant get it up because he is picturing bullet holes in their heads oh and the pussy overflow was classic.

The queen is interesting and totally hot even when she vamps out on Eric.

i agree about mary-ann. Erics maker Godric would have been a fantastic plot line, his character was great for what little we saw of him.

Yep, getting rid of him was pretty dumb. How many cool scenarios could they have come up with for an ultra-powerful vampire who's thousands of years old?

Just watched the last episode of S1 last night. Forgot how good that one was. From when Bill walks out into the daylight, to super-cool and powerful Eric's last line (regarding Jessica): "She's really annoying". That really had me cracking up for some reason. 😀

I thought it was pretty good, lots of scenes cracked me up; especially Stackhouse's "bullet holes" comment.. bwahahaha. But werewolves? Ok.. hope they do something good there. Honestly I like most of the characters, it's a pretty good show.

I think the show does a good take on the books. I didnt think the Maynad story in the book was all too great but loved it in the show.

Cosigned. I got tired of the Maynad thing pretty early into it all and was very happy when it was over.

They certainly didn't spare any expense on the gore and violence this season.

I'm still trying to figure out the connection with the vamps and wolves and the whole king/queen. It is almost like they're making this stuff up as they go along and have no script. And how many times if Vampire Bill going to be turned out to be the bad guy? Good thing they didn't get married.
