It's not the best show as far as acting/storytelling but, I enjoy it quite a bit. I'm mainly watching it at this point to see what direction it goes from the start it had.

Well it's like when a preview says "you won't believe the twist" -- then I spend the entire show/movie subconsciously trying to figure out the twist, and by the time it comes I have it figured out and am not even remotely suprised.

Want to also add in a "top notch nudity" review.

Sookie is so incredibly hipocritical all the time it drives me fucking insane.
Certain other chars make it sweet.


Not a spoiler, but apparently the books that these are based on are pretty alright and much more bizarre. My buddy's wife tell that Elvis is actually in them and pretty recurrent. Apparently in the books he was turned into a vampire but has to continually move from area to area to remain out of the spotlight. Apparently whenever he is in the book it is absolutely hilarious/awesome.

Thinly veiled social commentary on the south and racism/hate/bigotry/religiousintolerance-etc.

It is so heavy handed at times that it is actually really easy to ignore.

With that said there is tons of blood and awesome nudity.
