True benefits of reading AT forums?

You can ask a question and get some good answers, valuable info even, amongst the sarcasm. I have done this many times and appreciated the responses. It's not something you can just google search. You get to know the people here and can benefit from their knowledge.

I keep tuned in with today's youth culture. Of course, with the number of geezers on here, I may have to reassess ATOT's effectiveness in keeping me hip to today's beat and the happenin' lingo. Also, medical advice.

I agree completely.

Also, some of the stuff we do is pretty fun, like the funny photoshop threads, secret santa, fantasy sports, meets (haven't been to one yet myself...maybe the next one in NYC), the weekly competition threads yoyo does, multiplayer online gaming, etc. And occasionally charitable stuff like donating of computers to good causes or DaveSimmon's Child's Play thread every Christmas, and other stuff I can't remember offhand.

Sure, we (not me 😀 ()🙂) act like idiots some times, but it's all in good fun... mostly.

Add in L&R/P&N for entertainment/time killing, FS/FT for stuff, and I agree.

I am more informed of the news of the world, as well as a bit more intelligent... or is that detelligent.... I can never remember which AT gives me?

It's food for your thoughts if it's in ATOT or any of the other forums, diarrhea of the mind if it's in P&N.

There's so much random stuff here, it helps with my creativity. Plus it's like a big instant news filter, so I usually get updated to new events here before I see them on the news.

Not to mention seeing all the latest memes 🙂

Where else can I read threads created by douche bags unable to get laid by their own hands?

Nothing like taking an obvious poke at Skim Milk...AKA Frito Lays...😛

But I gotta agree with you...so many "socially awkward" people...

There is no better place than P&N to monitor a candidate debate. I don't even listen to the debate, just follow the play-by-play on P&N.

The vast knowledge and wisdom that is part of the culture that can only be found here. It has given me a unique view of what's going on outside the place I call home. Alas, we always get some nitwits trying to pretend to be somebody they are not in the real world. I can name a handful of those unfortunate souls.😀
