Maybe Alberta First Nation peoples should start their own petition for referendum to remove Danielle Smith as Premier. I am sure there are enough people to make that referendum happen.

The opposition leader needs to be elected though. He can be party leader but would lose his right to reside at Stornoway. Apparently losing the election AND your seat wasn't enough of a message though for PP.

Well, this is not the first time an opposition leader needs to be elected in a by-election. Won't be the last either.
 
Carney basically aced that test. Masterclass in underhanded compliments and rhetoric. At the surface it looks like a compliment, but anyone with N+1 braincells recognizes the implication.

Carney had to be thinking - "I have to deal with this putz? Thanks, America! What the hell happened to the United States?" Once again Trump embarrassed the country on live tv.

Felt bad for Carney being forced to listen to a loonytunes bumbling dementia patient ramble about nothing for 90 minutes. It must be infuriating to sit next to the "leader of the free world," who happens to be a mumbling idiot. Refreshing to listen to a world leader that can provide a measured and articulate response to a reporter's question rather than nasty, moronic gibberish.

Carney handled that meeting well. He didn't grovel to the king, and he didn't let himself be goaded into saying anything the MAGA Trumpkins could use to accuse him of being "disrespectful" to their Dear Leader. Carney made a few subtle facial expressions, during some of Trump's deluded ramblings, that were quite telling. Trump doesn't have the level of intellect to understand how badly he was insulted today. With people like Trump, you can insult them directly in their face and they will never realize it. They are so buried in their narcissism that all they hear are the flowery words and none of the subtext.

Nobody knows more about hockey than Trump. Alex Ovechkin is from Canada!

But Scheer is less nutty than the 2 party leaders that followed him. But scary is that the conservatives won’t give Poilievre the boot and start from scratch. Funny how they are calling people who voted for a 4th term liberal government as stupid but ignore them standing behind such a flawed candidate just like our neighbours to the south

Yeah but, how did standing behind the flawed candidate work out in the south ultimately? He got steamrolled first try. Won in 2016. Then lost his third try. But here we are.
