Truck door and wind problem

Is there anyway of stopping wind noise?

I'm.. genuinely surprised I'm not the only one. I've experienced this with three different truck models in my life and dealers always told me I was making it up. Considering two of these trucks were luxury vehicles I would have assumed they were built better.

Oddly I only ever notice it during the winter.

Wind noise? You probably want to check your weather stripping along the doors and windows. These can be replaced somewhat easily (if you can find the right kind) and will drastically reduce wind noise if they are deteriorated. This is pretty common in older vehicles...

Just apply a thick layer of Liquid Nail along the outside of the door.

I contacted a Dodge dealer and they said they could order the lining for $58 each and they guy I actually talked to did it to his truck not to long ago he said.

Wind noise or road noise? There is a difference. Your tires can cause excessive road noise. Wind noise - not much you can do really. I guess you could try to Dynamat the hell out of every metal surface in your car under the carpeting / trim panels and replace all of the outer weatherstripping / sealing.

Try installing those window vent shades. They can alter the air flow and perhaps modify the noise.
