Ever since installing the new ATI catalyst drivers my system hangs at shutdown: TRSDKd needs to be ended manually by clicking "end now" how do i fix this?
 
I found this thread Link.Something about the Total Recorder Virtual Sound Driver SDK. I don't know how it would be related to Catalyst drivers directly, but maybe that will help you track it down.
 
Hi, I have the exact same problem as you, but it is related to my 'MailFrontier' spam filter program, but with the same filename and same thing happens that I need to manually End Task it.
