Troy Bilt are supposed to be pretty good. At least thats what I found when I was researching riding mowers a year ago.

Troybilt has a great reputation, but I don't know how good the mowers are.

I've also been looking at them at Lowes.

They had a nice looking John Deere this past summer, but I just can't bring myself to buy Deere..."Friends don't let friends drive green equipment." :p

I have a John Deere riding mower, and I hate it. It's the last Deere I'll own.

I'm on year 4 of my $100 craftsman push mower. Haven't done anything but clean the airfilter.

Same here. I've put as much money into repairs of my 6-year old John Deere that I could have bought a new one.

I have had a john deere 0 turn lawn mower for 4 years have had nothing but trouble with it. Just recently a rod on the motor broke now have to pay $875 to get it fixed. Never will get John Deere again
