Troubleshooting HDD help needed

Replaced an 80gig HD with a 160 last night. Used the Maxtor software to copy all files to the drive. Unplugged old drive, set new drive as the master and turned it on. It begins to load, asks me to sign in (which I do), and then the wallpaper comes up. FNothing happens from this point forward. No Icons, no anything. Tried to go in through safe mode but the keyboard does not allow me to sign in. How do I help this new drive to continue.

Well if it's the only drive in your machine the first thing to try is set the jumper to CS cable select. Then I might try importing the foriegn drive after booting back into the 80 gig. and then trying to boot off of the 160. Let me know if you get it workin.
