troubleshooting DNS problem

I am troubleshooting my DSL DNS.
I can reach some sites, but not others.

Can someone ping microsoft.com or msn.com for me?

Is the sites up or down?
Are these even the correct IP addresses?

i'm pretty sure all major sites block pings... but yes, those sites are still up - and i am unable to ping them as well.


you can try doing a tracert i suppose.


might i suggest redirecting this to the networking forum?
