Trouble with Radeon Demo

Hi.

I just put together a new system with a Radeon 32MB, Duron 700, Abit KT7, 128MB RAM PC133, SB Live. I can't seem to get the Radeon Demo to run. It loads halfway then exits out.

It is a fresh install of Win98 SE. I loaded the Via 4-1 drivers, then the drivers that were on the Radeon CD. I then updated the drivers to the newest released version available on Ati's website. I haven't tried any games yet, I will tonight though.

I reinstalled directx 7a with the same results. the demo still loads a little over half way then goes to the desktop. no error messages.... thanks

Are you overclocking the Duron? Even if you are not, try bumping up the voltage alittle.

Thanks for that link. It solved the problem. I needed a bigger page file. Damn. I had a 196 page and 128MB RAM. Still not big enough. Upped it to a 500MB page file and it ran fine. Sheesh. Looks damn sweet though.
