Trouble with e8600, please suggest a way to track temps

Could anyone suggest a good program for temp/voltage monitoring while playing
games that would enable me to pinpoint where problems are coming from?

I am also looking for a hardware monitor that could be constantly hooked up
e.g. lcd panel to look after temp, voltage, cooling, etc.

p.s. using and old p5n-e sli with E8600 (cpu temps seem to appear okay)

Download the newest version of either CoreTemp or RealTemp, but only the latest versions.

Too bad you don't have dual display.

There was a version of RealTemp that had gamer display, 2.60 I think. It has disappeared in the lastest versions. If you can find it maybe just change tjmax to 100 and it should read the same as newest version.
