So I purchased a Creative Prodikeys keyboard for my girlfriend, and ran into an issue. The keyboard is a keyboard with a piano attached to the bottom, so you can play the piano into a program to record music notes.

The keyboard is a PS/2 keyboard, but she does not have any connections on her computer. I ended up purchasing a PS/2 to USB converter. Here's the tricky part; the keyboard works, but the program and the keys on the piano do not.
Would the converter be the issue here? I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the software, to see if that helps.
Also just to note, I tried updating the driver and it said there were no available updates, so I think it's either a problem with the software or with the PS/2 > USB converter.
Thanks!
UPDATE:
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. When I try to run the program it says it cannot find the hardware. I am fairly certain it is the PS/2 to USB converter. Seems odd to me; the keyboard works as a keyboard, but does not detect the piano part.
Any ideas?
