Trouble installing Windows XP

I just put together another system and I tried to install XP Pro, but it doesnt work 🙁. First, i tried the cdrom as the 1st boot device and put the xp cd in the cdrom, but i got this "Booting from Atapi CDrom: failure" msg. I then created some boot floppies from microsoft.com and tried that, but it says "Invalid system disk, please insert another and press any key" or something like that. I made sure it was the correct one.. Does anyone know what's wrong?

128mb pc133 ram
intergrated video
other stuff

Perhaps try another cd-rom drive. I had this happen to me when my cd-rom drive was no good.

Yeah, I tried 2 cdroms and same thing. 🙁

sounds like your installation cd for XP may be bad.

The cd worked before..

Can you try booting from a Win98 CD or some other OS CD?
