Trouble installing Warhammer Online

So I have been unsuccessfully trying to install Warhammer Online onto my computer. It reads the DVD and looks like it installs properly. However, when I go to the Warhammer folder, nothing is there, and the game does not run when I prompt it to.

I had this same issue with the World of Warcraft DVD's. I was unable to install World of Warcraft with the DVD set, but was successful with the CD's (I happened to have a both CD's and DVD's of the game). The same thing would happen as with Warhammer: it looked like it was installing, but nothing happens when it's finished.

My optical drive plays cd's fine, burns cd's fine, plays movie dvd's fine, and burns dvd's fine. Why in the world am I having trouble with games in the DVD format?

- LG Brand
- Vista Ultimate 64

This happened to me as well. And I also happened to have an IDE LG Burner. The dvd would be in the drive and it wouldn't read anything on it, I forgot about it being in there and like half an hour later it recognized the DVD.

I never bothered with the DVD installation, I prefered to download direct via Warhammer Online website anyway have you tried usual things like run as admin,XP compatibility mode?

Best suggestion is download the Online version then no need for DVD.
