My first build. I am having trouble installing a motherboard in my case.

The case is a Cooler Master CM 690. The case includes plastic cabling routes. The problem is they are get in the way of installing the motherboard. When I physically set the motherboard down in the case, I can push the routes out of the way temporarily. However, the motherboard is sitting on the routes instead of the standoffs. I have tried various other ways to get the motherboard in and the result is the same: the motherboard is sitting on the cable routes.

I bought this case based on the guide recommending it. Is there a way to remove the routes or move them? The manual doesn't say anything about the cable routes, nor is there any info on the Cooler master website.

If it's important the motherboard is a Foxcon P35a-s.

Not right now. What kind of photos? The cables routes or the motherboard in the case sitting on the cable routes?

I can take some tomorrow probably, once I know what would be helpful.

False alarm. The cable routes can be screwed off. I was able to get the motherboard in without issue. It took me a few tries to line up the I/O connections but now things are coming along.
