I have a Linksys PSUS4 wired print server connected to a Netgear wireless G router. I have a Canon s820 connected to the print server. Finally, I have an XP box connected directly to the router and a Mac G4 laptop running 10.3 which is connected wirelessly.
I followed the setup instructions, and I can print to the printer on my XP box. However I'm having difficulty getting the Mac to print to it. I setup a new printer on the Mac with appletalk and it sees the print server. Here's where it get's a little tricky...when I go to select my printer (it doesn't find that automatically) the canon selections don't match up to the right model. I downloaded and installed the right driver and I can find it.
However when I go to print and choose the print server, it starts the job, and then after awhile, it stops.
Any Mac experts know what I'm doing wrong or can help walk me through setting it up to print to a print server?
Thanks.
