trouble getting all ch. in win. media center with tuner.

i just installed a Hauppauge 1250 tuner card and i can get all the DTV ch. in win tv, in HD, but with win media center i can only get pbs also in HD. i should get another 12 ch.

you guys got any ideas? with win tv 6 it is kinda choppy. with win tv 7 changing channels takes for ever but the signal is nice and smoth. then media center says my signal strenghts is low and they wont come in other than pbs. but in win tv my signal strength looks great.

what's your source? (cable or antenna?)


Vista Media Center doesn't support QAM (you have to install the TV Pack 2008 update for that).

im running off of a antenna on top of my house. im only tuning in digital no analog.

you guys got any ideas? my other option would be to find some better sofware. i thinkg win. media center would do what i want if it worked right. otherwise maybe ill get beyond tv.
